A performance of the street play ‘Dastak’ was put up by the Asmita Theatre Group in 48 Senior Secondary and High Schools in Gurgaon Block. The performance reached over 35,000 students (boys and girls) from 12-18 years of age. Discussions and interactive session were held post performance. The campaign also connected the performance with the radio program Bavra Mausam, a weekly radio program on adolescent emotional health, with a counselor in studio to answer questions. Posters in the schools encouraged students to call into the program and talk to a counselor in the studio. This was done in partnership with the office of BEO, Gurgaon, Asmita Theatre Group and TRF, with support from CREA.
